Pre-home study modules are individually certified, giving you valuable qualifications even before you start your practical training. With this strong theoretical foundation, you'll be fully prepared for the hands-on portion of the course, ensuring that you feel confident and knowledgeable from day one.
Pre-home Study
The learning journey begins with pre-home study, providing you with essential theoretical knowledge before moving to hands-on training. You’ll have the flexibility to study at your own pace, with a recommended minimum of two weeks to complete the following key modules:
Anaphylaxis: Understanding allergic reactions and safety protocols
Anatomy & Physiology: Exploring facial structures critical for filler application
Tattoo & Infection Control: Ensuring safe practices in invasive treatments
Basic First Aid: Equipping you with essential emergency skills
Medications: Knowledge of drugs used in aesthetics treatments
Practical Training
Over two days, you’ll get hands-on with real models at our academy or your site (conditions apply). You’ll cover all the essentials of dermal fillers, including:
Examination of treatable area
Adverse effects. Diagnosis and treatment.

A written exam follows the course, and students will be signed off upon satisfactory performance. After the course, you’ll be ready to take on clients with the confidence and skill needed to deliver transformative results.

PREREQUISITES

Suitable for:
Staff nurses and medics
Suitable Healthcare Practitioners (6+ months experience)
SPMU practitioners (6 months + experience)
Progression Route into Aesthetics
NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent
Note: If you do not hold an NVQ Level 3 or 4 but do have other qualifications that are directly related to this area of work, mainly if you work with needles, please contact us to see if we will accept your qualification as a pre-requisite for enrolment.
